making bread [a poem]
braiding bread dough.
throw scatter of flour upon
wooden plank reserved for the
pressing and punching of dough.
wheat fields agleam
in sunset sun. ancient
ghosts of persons smiling.
wheat sheaves upon shoulders.
in this nowhereness
the growling smell of fuel
or big machines grinding metal teeth
unheard.
just humans
in a planted wheat field.
no subjects of a fool.
set a clean towel over loaves lightly.
through the frosted window pane
check the pale glow lullaby moon,
patterned with spider web dimples.
before plunge to sleep.
dreams, scented with smells of hay.
we all await the arising
again.

As a timed event, this was the one-hour blog set-up. Am actually conversant with design elements over a number of blogging platforms. Well, that's amazing, considering the shennaigans of learning how to do anything 1.58774423 years hence ago
